Probe Kent County Robbery

Camden –
The Delaware State Police
are investigating a robbery that occurred last evening at
approximately 10:25 pm. Troopers responded to a residence in the
unit block of Shamrock Avenue , Camden after it was reported
a 43 year old man, who resides at he home, was robbed as he was
standing on his front porch.
Investigators
learned a short black male, 18 – 20 years of age; 130 – 160 lbs -
that has the nickname of “shorty” – approached the victim as he was
returning from a local pizza shop nearby. The suspect punched the
victim in the face causing swelling and a cut to his left eye and
removed an undisclosed amount of money and a cellular phone from the
victim.
The victim did
not require medical treatment and informed police he recognized the
suspect as ‘shorty’, but could provide no further details on him.
