Third Suspect Sought in Shooting Arrested

Released-Tuesday, August 5, 2008

Dover- On Monday, August 4, 2008, Dover Police Department took Darius Martin, 18, of the 1000 Block of Hayes Circle, Dover, into custody.  Mr. Martin was later turned over to Delaware State Police Troop 3 Detectives for his involvement in a shooting which occurred in the Planter’s Woods development on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at approximately 1:00 am. 

Delaware State Police charged Martin with the following felony charges: Reckless Endangering 1^st Degree, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited and Conspiracy 2^nd Degree.  Martin was committed to Delaware Correctional Center in lieu of $24,000 secure bond on these charges.
