20-Year Old Male Assaulted – DSP Seeks Public’s Assistance Released- Monday, August 04, 2008 Rehoboth Beach- On Monday, August 04, 2008 at approximately 2:30 am, Delaware State Troopers responded to the area of Sandy Bottom Boulevard and Coastal Highway, for report of an assault. A 20-year old male of Ocean View, was assaulted at the hands of an unknown suspect. The suspect’s motives at this point are unknown. As a result of the assault, the victim sustained a closed head injury. The individual was initially transported to Beebe Emergency Room and then later transferred to Christiana Medical Center for treatment. At the present time, the Delaware State Police is seeking assistance from the public regarding this incident.
