Three Suspects Carjack Vehicle Injuring

Wilmington - On Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at
approximately 3 am, Delaware State Troopers responded to Boxwood
Road and Maryland Avenue, reference a carjacking.
The investigation revealed that a 21-year
old male of Kennett Square, PA, was stopped at the intersection for
a red light when he was ambushed by three unknown suspects, one of
which was yielding a shotgun. The suspects assaulted the victim and
pried him from his vehicle, a Saturn sedan. The victim sustained
non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects' identities were concealed by
dark clothing with hoods. Their height is estimated at between
5'7-5'9 with a medium build. The suspects fled in the victim's
vehicle southbound on Boxwood Road.
The vehicle was later located in Banning
Park.
