DSP News Release: Wednesday, April 01, 2009- These Two Took “Always Low Prices” to Heart

Location of Incident: Walmart, 1251 Centerville Road, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

Date of Occurrence: March 22nd and March 27th, 2009

Suspect(s)

  • Robert Danner, 22, of Montclair Drive in Claymont, Delaware
  • Luis A. Lisojo, 23, of Montclair Drive in Claymont, Delaware

Resume: On Monday, March 30th, Troopers were called to Walmart on Centerville Road for a report of an employee theft. 

This investigation revealed two employees, Robert Danner and Luis Lisojo, were altering the cost of items, to a lower price point, in order to buy the items for themselves at the lower price.  The roommates took turns each buying the goods while the other rang up the merchandise.

In all, the two employees executed 8 fraudulent transactions.  The total dollar amount lost was about $65.00.  The items stolen included DVD’s, a book, lip gloss, potato chips and clothing.

The two subjects were formally charged with eight counts of Theft (misdemeanor) and six counts of Conspiracy.  They were both released on an $8,000.00 unsecured bond.
