Resume: Last evening, Troopers were called to the Stanton Super Soda Center for a reported robbery.

In this incident, shortly before 9:00 p.m., a black male suspect entered the business and brandished a small silver colored fixed blade kitchen style knife. He demanded money from clerks. One of the clerks opened the cash register just as the suspect jumped onto the counter.

The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of money from the till, but apparently was not sated with his score. He then demanded money from the clerk himself; however the clerk did not have any money to provide.

The suspect fled the store on foot towards Stanton.
