DSP News Release: Tuesday, March 24, 2009- Identity of Razor Blade Thief Sought

Location of Incident: Acme, Lantana Drive, Lantana Square Shopping Center, Hockessin, Delaware, New Castle County

Date and Time of Occurrence: March 20, 2009, at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Suspect(s): White male, average build, 20 – 25 years old, 5’10” tall weighing about 180 pounds.

Resume: Delaware State Police Troop 6 Patrol is asking for the publics’ help in locating and identifying a shoplifter targeting razor blades. 

On March 20^th, officers were called to the Acme in the Lantana Square Shopping Center for a reported theft.  This investigating revealed a white male suspect entered the store and proceeded to the personal care isle.  This subject selected approximately $400.00 worth of razor blades from display and concealed them under his jacket.  The bandit then fled the store without paying.
