Suspect(s):
Joseph B. Pol, 19, of Village Circle, Newark, Delaware
Resume:
For the
past several weeks, Troopers from Troop 6 have investigated several
burglaries in the Newark area in which the suspect entered the
businesses via the roof.
Detectives
developed a suspect and focused their attention on Joseph B. Pol.
Surveillance was initiated last evening and investigators caught Pol
in the act of breaking into the Modern Nails in the Salem Village
Square Shopping Center at approximately 1:04 a.m. As Pol emerged
from the business, officers approached and the bandit fled on foot.
He was apprehended in the Sandalwood Apartments after he tried to
shed some of his clothing in an attempt to throw off the Troopers in
pursuit.
Mr. Pol was
transported back to Troop 2 for processing. He was formally charged
in the following cases with the associated crimes:

arraignment, Joseph Pol was released on a $5,600 unsecured bond.
