Monday, February 23, 2009- State Police Investigate Pedestrian
Related Crash at Prices Corner

Route 2, Kirkwood Highway, east of Route 41, Newport Gap Pike,
Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

of Occurrence:
Saturday, February 21, 2009, at approximately 11:10 p.m.
Resume:
Troopers did not have to travel far on Saturday night when they
responded to a pedestrian related crash in front of Troop 6 at
Prices Corner.
A 1994 Buick
Century (operated by Isaac Harris, 21, of Newark) was traveling
eastbound on Route 2 in the left lane. As the Buick traveled east
of Route 41, a pedestrian (Moises Villicana, 16, of Wilmington) was
trying to cross the road and ran into the path of the sedan.
The pedestrian
was transported from the scene to Christiana Hospital where he was
treated for a leg injury.
Moises
Villicana was not crossing the street at a crosswalk and was cited
for same.
Mr. Harris was
cited for not having proof of insurance.
