DSP News Release: Wednesday, February 18, 2009- Knife Point Robbery Investigated

Location of Incident: Valero Shore Stop, 1327 McKennans Church Road, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at approximately 3:46 a.m.

Suspect(s):  White male, 20 – 30 years old, 5’09” to 5’10” tall, 200 – 220 pounds, unshaven, large build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and brown boots.

Resume: Detectives from the Delaware State Police Robbery Squad are investigating a knife point robbery from last week. 

In this case, a white male suspect entered the Valero Shore Stop located at the intersection of McKennans Church Road and Route 7. This person was armed with a knife and approached the service counter. The crook demanded money from the register and the clerk complied. 

The robber, with the funds in hand, fled the store in a southeast direction.
