On Friday, February 13th,
Troopers arrested Jason Neff. A citizen saw Mr. Neff’s picture in
the local media and called investigators to provide information
pertaining to his whereabouts. It was learned that Neff was working
at an eatery on Philadelphia Pike in Claymont. Troopers converged
on this location and took Neff into custody without incident.
He was
committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Institute in lieu of
$110,500 secured bail.

– The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in
locating Jason M. Neff, 25 formally of Smyrna and Elkton, MD.
Detectives from the major crimes unit at Troop 3 have been searching
for him since July ’08 after arrest warrants were obtained for Rape
1st degree, Kidnapping 2nd degree and Incest.
The warrants
were obtained after a criminal investigation found Neff had sexually
assaulted a family member from March 1999 to December 2005 while
residing at a residence on Ivy Ridge Drive in Smyrna. Neff has ties
to the Smyrna and Elkton, MD areas.
