Friday, February 13, 2009- Robber Identified and Arrested-
“Detectives Seek Publics’ Help in
Identifying Robbery Suspect”
Wilmington-
The
Delaware State Police have arrested Donald Grier, Jr, 27, of
Wilmington. He was identified by law enforcement officers once the
surveillance picture from the robbery was disseminated amongst
colleagues.
On February 12th,
armed with an arrest warrant, Grier was taken into custody and
formally charged with felony Robbery 1st. He was
committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of
$30,000.00 cash only bail.

Thursday, February 05, 2009- Detectives Seek Publics’ Help in
Identifying Robbery Suspect

7-Eleven, 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard, Wilmington, Delaware, New
Castle County
Date and Time
of Occurrence:
Thursday, January 8, 2009, at approximately 5:45 a.m.
Suspect:
White male, possibly Hispanic, 18 to 23 years old, 6-0 to 6-2,
large build, 215 to 235 lbs., short black hair, wearing a brown
hooded sweatshirt with unknown logo on the front, white t-shirt, and
blue jeans with the leg faded.
Resume:
Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at the
7-Eleven on Governor Printz Boulevard. They have been successful at
obtaining and enhancing surveillance pictures which are now
available for the public to view.
This incident
in question occurred on January 8th at about 5:45 in the
morning. In this incident, the below-pictured suspect entered the
store and proceeded to walk aimlessly around the business.
He finally
approached the service counter and ordered two hot dogs from the
clerk. The clerk prepared the food and turned the order over to the
suspect. About this same time, the other patrons in the 7-Eleven had
all left. With the store empty, the suspect ran behind the sales
counter and displayed black pistol. He then demanded money from the
clerk who complied.
With the loot
in hand, the suspect fled from the store towards Edgemoor Gardens.
An area canvas was conducted by responding Troopers and a cash
drawer from the business along with a pistol were recovered. The
pistol was later determined to be a Daisy CO2 BB gun.
