DSP News Release: Thursday, February 05, 2009, Troopers Investigate Theft of Tools from Concord Pike Store

Location of Incident: Hi-Fi House, 2304 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware

Date and Time of Occurrence: Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at approximately 12:40 a.m.

Suspects:  Unknown

Resume: Yesterday morning, Troopers responded to the Hi-Fi House on Concord Pike for the report of a felony theft. 

In this case, an unknown suspect broke into a company van, by shattering the front window, and ransacked the inside. The van was parked in the front lot of the property. The suspect stole a variety of power tools and fled the scene with same. 

Surveillance video, which is not available at this time, shows a suspect leaving the scene in a full size, two tone (dark over light) pick-up truck, southbound on Concord Pike.  The back of the pick-up truck was equipped with a tool box that stretched the width of the bed and was positioned up against the back window.
