DSP News Release: Sunday, February 01, 2009- Hit and Run Crash on I-95

Location of Incident:  I-95 northbound, south of Route 202

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Sunday, February 01, 2009, at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Suspect(s):  Unknown white female in a silver Honda

Resume:  Earlier this afternoon, Juan Pagan, 45, of New Castle, was driving his Toyota Celica northbound on I-95 in the center lane.  Mr. Pagan reported that a white female in a Silver Honda was in the left lane and sideswiped him.  This impact forced Mr. Pagan off of the right side of the roadway and up an embankment.  As Pagan was leaving the road, his vehicle struck and damaged a light pole. 

The Honda fled the scene. 

Mr. Pagan sustained non-life threatening injuries.
