Tuesday, January 13, 2009- It Does Not Get Much Lower Than This-
Robbers Target Mentally Challenged Female Leaving Work and Waiting
for the Bus

Monday, January 12, 2009, approximately 3:40 p.m.

male, 6’0 tall, 175 to 185 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt and
jeans

Resume:
Yesterday afternoon, a 37-year-old mentally challenged female was
leaving WalMart, her place of employment, and was waiting for a DART
Paratransit bus in the parking lot.
A male suspect
walked up to her and asked her for money. This subject was
accompanied by a second male suspect. When the victim refused to
turn over any money, the suspects surrounded the female. One
suspect reached directly into the coat pocket of the female and took
a small amount of cash. The victim advised she was very scared and
did not put up a fight. She did, however, scream as the one suspect
was taking her money.
The two
bandits fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
This incident
is still under investigation and surveillance video is not
