Friday, January 09, 2009- Vehicles Damaged on Route 13 Northbound,
North of Smyrna

Route 13 Northbound at Savannah Drive, north of the town limits of
Smyrna

Various times over the past two weeks

Two teenage male Smyrna residents- to be identified at a later time
Resume:
Over the past two weeks, the Delaware State Police has handled at
least eight criminal mischief cases on Route 13 north of Smyrna.
The manner by
which these incidents occurred happened to be similar as the victims
were traveling northbound on Route 13 when they happened upon debris
in the roadway. The debris consisted of lumber and Christmas
Trees. As the victims slowed down, items were then thrown at their
vehicles damaging same.
The most
recent report came by the way of two victims who walked into Troop 9
last night. After giving the details of their incidents to a patrol
officer, this Trooper responded to the area the incidents occurred
and took two male subjects into custody. Warrants are forthcoming
and these suspects will be identified at a later time.

are asking that anyone else who may have fallen victim to this same
