DSP News Release:  Tuesday, January 06, 2009-  Greenville Bank Robbery

Location of Incident:  Wilmington Trust, 3801 Kennett Pike, Greenville, Delaware, New Castle County

Date and Time of Occurrence: Tuesday, January 06, 2009, 1:47 p.m.

Suspect(s):  Light skinned black male, mid to late 20's, 6'00" tall, short hair, wearing a bulky dark colored jacket with a tan fur liner on hood; sweatshirt under jacket with a cartoon bull (multi colored), baggy jeans with some type of identification or pass hanging from the left front pocket,  noticeable scar over left ear. 

Resume:  Earlier this afternoon, Troopers were called to the Wilmington Trust in Greenville for the report of a bank robbery.

In this case, a black male suspect entered the bank and approached a teller.  He presented a demand note and implied he had a weapon.  The clerk complied and the bandit fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the scene in possibly a Chrysler Sebring four door.
