DSP News Release: Thursday, September 10, 2009- Bank Robber’s Identity Sought

 

Location: Wachovia Bank, 3215 Old Capitol Trail, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence: Thursday, September 10, 2009, at 11:50 a.m.

 

Suspect(s): Black male, 35-40 years old, approximately 5’09”, stocky build wearing a red baseball hat, sunglasses, white t-shirt, and dark pants.

 

Resume: On Thursday, September 10th, Troopers were called to the Wachovia Bank on Old Capitol Trail for a bank robbery report. 

 

At approximately 11:50 a.m. the below pictured suspect entered the bank and approached a teller.  The bandit presented a note to the bank employee which demanded cash.  The note advised no one would be harmed if the teller complied.  The bank teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the bandit fled the scene on foot.
