DSP News Release: Saturday, September 5th, 2009
Location: Southbound SR 896 at Glasgow Avenue, Newark, DE
Date of Occurrence: Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at approximately 2:46pm
Resume: Delaware State Troopers are presently on-scene of a single vehicle crash. The vehicle involved in the crash is a motorcycle.
The operator of the motorcycle is a 36-year old male from Dover. The operator was pronounced at the scene of the crash as a result of injuries sustained.
The investigation is presently on-going and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
Motorists can expect a slight delay in the area; however the roadway is presently open.
