DSP News Release: Wednesday, October 28, 2009- Early Morning Robbery Probed

 

Location: 7-Eleven, 4875 Governor Printz Boulevard, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence: Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 4:45 a.m.

 

Suspect(s):   Light skinned black or Hispanic male, 20 – 29 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and a cloth covering his face.  

 

Resume:  Troopers are investigating a robbery that occurred this morning at a Wilmington area convenience store.

 

At about 4:45 a.m., Troopers were called to the 7-Eleven, located at 4875 Governor Printz Boulevard, for a robbery report. 

 

In this case, the above described suspect entered the store and approached the two clerks inside.  The suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the clerks to get back behind the service counter and empty the registers.  The clerks complied and the bandit fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. 

 

Surveillance video is not available at this time.
