DSP News Release: Tuesday, October 27, 2009- Dunkin Donuts Robbed on Pulaski Highway

 

Location: Dunkin Donuts, 1204 Pulaski Highway, Bear, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence: Monday, October 26, 2009, at 5:15 a.m.

 

Suspect(s): Black male, average build, wearing black clothing with a cloth covering his face where only his eyes were showing.  This subject was armed with a silver handgun.

 

Resume: On Monday, October 26th, Troopers were called to a Pulaski Highway Dunkin Donuts for an early morning robbery. 

 

Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the victims / clerks and obtained the facts of the case.  This investigation revealed that at about 5:15 a.m. a masked gunman entered the business and approached the service counter.  The bandit pointed a silver handgun at the clerks and demanded cash.  The clerks complied and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money. 

 

The suspect was last seen heading eastbound on Route 40 in a black regular cab pick-up truck.
