DSP News Release: Friday, October 02, 2009- Eden Square Clothing Store Robbed
Location: Dress Barn, 408 Eden Circle, Bear, Delaware, New Castle County
Date of Occurrence: Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 6:19 p.m.
Suspect(s): Black female, 30-35 years old, wearing dark pants, puffy jacket and a scarf around her neck
Resume: Shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, Troopers responded to the Dress Barn, 408 Eden Circle in Bear, in reference to a robbery.
The manager advised that a female suspect entered the store and approached the service counter. The bandit presented a demand note to the manager. The note advised the manager that she was armed with a gun and wanted cash.
The manager complied and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured in this incident. There is no surveillance video available.
