DSP News Release: Thursday, October 1,
2009- Burglary Probed in
Location: New Trend Hair Salon,
Date and Time: Between 09/28/09 at 7:45 p.m. to 09/29/09 at 9:00 a.m.

September 29th, 2009, Troopers responded to the New Trend Hair
Salon (
When officers arrived it was determined that the unknown suspect(s) pried open the rear door of the business to gain entry. Once inside the suspect(s) destroyed two (2) work stations, hair equipment, appliances, and flooring causing over $5,000 in damage. A small amount of cash was stolen and the bandits then fled the scene undetected.
There is no surveillance video available. Investigators noted the odd nature of a hair salon burglary and hope that someone may know who is responsible for this crime. Tips can be provided to detectives at 302-834-2630 ext. 211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
