DSP News Release: Thursday, November 19, 2009- Troopers Seek Whereabouts of Assault Suspects

 

Location: Wal-Mart, 1251 Centerville Road, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence:  Sunday evening, November 15th, 2009

 

Suspect(s):

  • Felix Renteria, 19, of Homestead Road, Wilmington, Delaware
  • Felix’s 14-year-old brother who resides at his address  

 

Resume: On Sunday the 15th, Troopers were called to the Wal-Mart on Centerville Road for an assault report. 

 

In this case, Felix Renteria, and his 14-year-old brother, were in the store when they saw a 16-year-old male subject whom they knew was now dating Felix’s ex-girlfriend.  Felix and his brother then assaulted the other boy.  After the assault, the two suspects fled the scene. 

 

The victim did not require medical attention. 

 

Troopers have made multiple attempts to locate and arrest the Renteria brothers.  They are both wanted for misdemeanor Assault and Conspiracy.  Also, a computer check revealed Felix is wanted by Elsmere Police for an offensive touching case as well as five other active capiases.
