DSP News Release: Thursday, November 19, 2009- Robber’s Identity Sought
Location: 7-Eleven, 11 Red Mill Road, Newark, Delaware, New Castle County
Date and Time: Wednesday, November 11th, at 8:00 p.m.
Suspect(s): Black male, mid 30’s to late 40’s, dark complexion, goatee or full beard, 6-2 to 6-4, approximately 250 lbs., large build, wearing a plain black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black belt, blue jeans and tan boots. The suspect did not wear any gloves and was in possession of a large black handgun.
Resume: On Wednesday, November 11th, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven store located at 11 Red Mill Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
In this incident, the below-pictured suspect entered the store and approached the clerk. The suspect suddenly reached across the counter and grabbed the clerk. The suspect then displayed a large black handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.
