DSP News Release:  Wednesday, November 18, 2009- Credit Card Fraud Suspects Sought

 

Location: Wal-Mart, Wilton Boulevard, New Castle, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence:  November 12th, 2009

 

Suspect(s):  

·        Black female, large build, 5' 8" to 5' 10', 35-45 years old, wearing a large black winter coat and a scarf on her head

·        Black male, average build, 5' 10" to 6' 2", 35-45 years old, wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans, baseball cap, and glasses.  

 

Resume: On November 12th, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the suspects depicted below allegedly removed several credit cards from victim's wallet, which was located inside her purse, while the victim patronized the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Elkton, MD.  The suspects proceeded to place wallet back inside the purse and exit the Cracker Barrel without ordering food.  (This theft report was taken by the Elkton Police Department) 

 

The suspects responded to the Elkton, Maryland Wal-Mart, on Route 40, at approximately 11:30 a.m. at which time they obtained several thousand dollars worth of gift cards using victim’s stolen credit cards. 

 

Next, the suspects responded to the New Castle Wal-Mart, on Wilton Boulevard, at approximately 12:01 p.m. at which time the suspects obtained $200 in gift cards again using the victim's stolen credit card. 

 

Suspects were last seen entering a dark colored sedan- possibly a 3 series BMW.
