DSP News Release: Wednesday, November 18, 2009- Claymont Burger King Robbed at Gun Point

 

Location: Burger King, 2911 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence:  Tuesday, November 17th, 2009, at approximately 10:00 p.m.

 

Suspect(s): 

  • Light skinned black male with blue eyes, black vest over blue hooded sweat shirt, white t-shirt over face, 5' 5''  to  5' 6'' tall, thin build, armed with a handgun
  • Black male, wearing all black clothing, t-shirt underneath jacket, armed with a handgun

 

Resume:  Late last evening, Troopers were called to the Philadelphia Pike Burger King for a robbery report.

 

This investigation revealed the robbery occurred as the employees were closing for the night.  At this time, the rear door was unlocked.  The suspects entered the through this rear door and robbed the employees at gun point.  The bandits obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.

 

There is no surveillance video to disseminate.  No one was injured in this case.
