DSP News Release: Suspect Sought in Shooting

 

Location: Milan Motel 3306 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE New Castle County

Delaware State Police are searching for a subject who fired a shot at a Claymont Motel.

 

The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. when an unknown suspect approached the side office door to the Milan Motel. The suspect began kicking the door in an attempt to gain entry into the office. After several unsuccessful attempts to gain entry the suspect fired a round into the office window. At the time the shot was fire, a 33 year-old female clerk and a 31 year-old male clerk were inside the office. After firing the shot, the suspect kicked the door several more times before fleeing.

 

No one was injured during the shooting.
