DSP News Release: Wednesday, May 20, 2009- Identity of Shoplifting Suspect Sought

 

Location of Incident: Hollywood Video, 20 Chestnut Hill Plaza, Newark, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date and Time of Occurrence: April 19th, 2009, at approximately 8:45 p.m.

 

Suspect(s):  White male, 25-30 years old, 5’06” to 5’08” tall, unshaven, thin build, short hair wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans

 

Resume: Detectives from Troop 2 are seeking the identity of the shoplifting suspect depicted in the attached photographs. 

 

On April 19th, a white male suspected entered the Hollywood Video in the Chestnut Hill Plaza.  This subject advised a store employee he recently came into money and wanted to purchase a Playstation 3 (valued at $400.00).  The employee took the Playstation out of the display case and placed it on the counter.  The suspect then asked for a game to go with the system. The Clerk walked over to another display case, and while he was obtaining the game, the suspect fled the store with the gaming unit.
