DSP News Release: Friday, May 15, 2009- Investigators Searching for Robbery Suspect
Location of Incident: 7-Eleven, 2312 Concord Pike in Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County
Date and Time of Occurrence: Thursday, May 14, 2009, at approximately 10:34 p.m.
Suspect(s): White male, 28-32 years old, 5’09-5’11, approximately 215-240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt with blue shorts and had short brown hair with a beard and mustache.
Resume: The Delaware State Police is requesting assistance in identifying the above listed suspect for his involvement in a robbery.
In the late evening hours of May 14, 2009 a male subject entered the 7-Eleven on Concord Pike and approached the service counter. The suspect reached over the counter and into the open till where he removed an undisclosed amount of money.
After a brief struggle with the clerk ensued and the suspect fled the business in what was described to be a blue Chevrolet Cobalt. This vehicle was last seen heading southbound on Concord Pike.
The clerk was not injured during the incident.
