DSP News Release: Wednesday, May 20, 2009- Suspect Targets Oxycontin in Pharmacy Robbery

 

Location of Incident: Happy Harry’s, 1323 McKennans Church Road, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date and Time of Occurrence: Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at approximately 6:20 p.m.

 

Suspect(s): White male, approximately 6'02” tall, brown hair, 25-30 years in age, weighing between 200-210 lbs., wearing a grey knit hat, a plain grey t-shirt and blue jeans.

 

Resume: State Troopers were called to the Happy Harry’s on McKennans Church Road yesterday for a robbery complaint. 

 

In this case, a white male suspect entered the store and responded to the pharmacy.  This subject advised a store employee he was armed with a gun and demanded the drug Oxycontin.  The employee turned over an undisclosed amount of the narcotic and the suspect fled the store on foot.
