DSP News Release: Thursday, May 28, 2009- 7-Eleven Robbery Investigated

 

Location of Incident: 7-Eleven, 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date and Time of Occurrence: Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at approximately 10:43 p.m.

 

Suspect(s): Three black male subjects, thin builds, 5’07 – 5’10” tall, 150 – 170 pounds, two armed with handguns, wearing hooded sweatshirts

 

Resume: Late Tuesday evening, Troopers were called to the 7-Eleven on Governor Printz Boulevard for an armed robbery complaint. 

 

In this case, three male subjects entered the store, armed with handguns, and approached the clerk.  The subjects jumped the counter and stood at the cash register while they demanded money from the clerk- who complied. 

 

With the cash in hand, the bandits fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. 

 

There was a second employee working at the time this incident took place.  Neither worker was injured.
