Preliminary DSP News Release: Thursday, June 4, 2009- Bank Robbery Investigated on Kennett Pike
Location of Incident: PNC Bank, 3840 Kennett Pike, Greenville, Delaware, New Castle County
Date and Time of Occurrence: Thursday, June 04, 2009, at approximately 9:45 a.m.
Suspect(s): White male, 40 – 50 years old, and 6’ tall, wearing dark clothes and armed with a handgun
Resume: Detectives from the Delaware State Police Robbery Unit are currently on the scene of an armed robbery at the PNC Bank in Greenville.
In this case, a white male suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. He was armed with a handgun and demanded cash. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the crook fled the scene.
