DSP News Release: Thursday, July 30, 2009- Kirkwood Highway 7-Eleven Robbed
Location: 7-Eleven, 5601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County
Date of Occurrence: Wednesday, July 29th, 2009, at approximately 3:11 a.m.
Suspect(s): · White male, 5’09” to 5’11”, 190 – 210 pounds, muscular build, armed with a shotgun · White male, no further details
Resume: Detectives from the Troop 2 Robbery Squad are investigating an armed robbery which occurred yesterday at 3:11 a.m.
This investigation revealed a white male suspect entered the 7-Eleven, located at 5601 Kirkwood Highway, and brandished a shotgun. The suspect demanded cash along with a variety of DVD’s and video games.
At the time of the robbery, a second subject, a lookout, was waiting outside.
The suspect fled the scene with the loot, out of the front of the store, and in an unknown direction.
