The Headline: Tuesday, July 28, 2009- Gunmen Rob New Castle 7-Eleven
Location: 7-Eleven, 520 East Basin Road, New Castle, Delaware, New Castle County
Date of Occurrence: Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at approximately 3:00 a.m.
Suspect(s): two black males, average builds, 5’06” to 5’08” tall, 165 pounds, faces covered, both armed with handguns
Resume: Detectives from DSP Troop 2 are investigating an early morning robbery at the Basin Road 7-Eleven in New Castle.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., two masked gunmen entered the store and approached the service counter. Both men were armed with handguns. The crooks demanded cash and the clerk, a 62-year-old female, complied.
The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Surveillance video is not yet available.
