7-Eleven Robbed in New Castle

 

Location of Incident: 7-Eleven, 520 East Basin Road, New Castle, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence:  Friday, Jul 24th, at approximately 9:30 a.m.

 

Suspect(s):  Two black males wearing scarves over their faces concealing their identities.  One subject was armed with a handgun

 

Resume: A 7-Eleven robbery occurred last evening at the Basin Road location.

 

In this incident, two male subjects wearing scarves over their faces, entered the store and approached the service counter.  One of the subjects was armed with a handgun.  The bandits demanded cash and the clerk complied by turning over an undisclosed amount of cash.  They then fled out of the front door and got into a white Ford station wagon with a blue bumper. 

 

Surveillance video is not available.  Authorities are exploring the possibility of a connection between this case and the Ramada Inn robbery reported earlier today- July 25th
