Dairy Queen Robbery Probed Released: Friday, July 17, 2009, at 8:00 a.m.
Location of Incident: Dairy Queen, 374 E. Chestnut Hill Road, Newark, Delaware, New Castle County
Date of Occurrence: Thursday, July 16th, 2009, at approximately 11:20 p.m.
Suspect(s):
Resume: Troopers responded to the Chestnut Hill Dairy Queen late last night for a reported robbery.
In this case, two suspects entered the business through an unlocked rear door. At this same time, the employees present were closing up shop for the night. Once inside, the suspects ordered all of the employees to the front of the store. The bandits then located an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store with same.
Surveillance video is not available at this time. No one was injured in this incident.
