DSP News Release: Thursday, July 02, 2009- Theft Suspect’s Identity Sought
Location of Incident: Parking lot of the Wawa, Airport Road and Churchmans Road, New Castle, Delaware, New Castle County
Date and Time of Occurrence: Friday, June 26th, 2009
Suspect(s): Black male, 30’s to 40’s, medium complexion, facial hair, close hair cut, blue sleeveless shirt
Resume: Troop 2 patrol officers are seeking the identity of the below pictured suspect.
This individual is responsible for stealing a purse from a victim’s vehicle as she patroned the Wawa on Airport Road and Churchmans Road. The suspect then used the victim’s credit card to make nine separate purchases at area stores within a 45 minute period. The purchases totaled almost $400.00.
