DSP News Release: Monday, August 17, 2009- Subject Charged with Indecent Exposure

 

Location: Parking lot of the Dunkin Donuts, 301 North Maryland Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence: Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 9:41 a.m.

 

Suspect(s): Jeremiah H. Michael, 28, of Cypress Drive in Newark, Delaware

 

Resume: On Saturday morning, Troopers responded to the parking lot of the Dunkin Donuts on Maryland Avenue for a report of an indecent exposure. 

 

A 26-year-old female victim purchased coffee at the store and walked back out to her car. She alleged that as she was getting into her vehicle, she looked toward the car next to her at which time the male occupant exposed himself, touched his genitals and smiled at her. 

 

The victim got into her car and fled the scene.  She had the wherewithal to get the suspect vehicle’s tag number prior to leaving. The victim provided this information to the investigating Trooper who quickly identified the suspect as Jeremiah H. Michael. 

 

Mr. Michael was cited with Indecent Exposure and released without bail pending a future court date.
