DSP News Release: Thursday, August 06, 2009- BP Gas Station Robbed at Gun Point

 

Location: BP Gas Station Tybouts Corner, 906 South DuPont Highway, New Castle, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence: Thursday, August 6, 2009, at approximately 3:21 a.m.

 

Suspect(s):

·        Black male, dark complexion, 6' 00" 150 lbs, eye glasses, wearing dark blue shirt short sleeve, with black hood and black mask ( thought to be bandana), black pants, and wearing gloves

·        Black male, dark complexion, 5'09", 200 lbs, wearing black shirt sleeves appeared to be pushed up, black pants, black hood with mask, was wearing white gloves

 

Resume: Detectives are investigating an early morning robbery that took place today at the BP Gas Station on Route 13 at Tybouts Corner.

 

In this incident, two suspects entered the front door of the store where the first suspect pointed a gun at an employee.  This suspect then demanded the money in the register and took same. 

 

The second suspect went to the rear of the store and made another employee get down on the floor.  A third employee was then ordered to get even more cash from another cash register.

 

Both suspects then fled from the scene in an unknown direction in a silver 4 door sedan possibly a Buick Regal.

 

No one was injured in this case.  Surveillance video is not available at this time.
