DSP News Release: Wednesday, August 05, 2009- Victim Robbed in Parking Lot of Kirkwood Highway Shell Station

 

Location: Shell Service Station, 4598 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date of Occurrence: Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at approximately 9:28 p.m.

 

Suspect(s): White males, 20's, 6'0" tall, 160 lbs, short red hair, red chin strap beard, long white tee shirt, faded baggy jeans.

 

Resume: Last night, Troopers from Troop 6 were called to the parking lot of the Shell Station on Kirkwood Highway for a robbery report.  The victim was patroning this establishment when he was approached by a white male suspect. 

 

The suspect asked for marijuana and when the victim advised he did not have any, the bandit produced a handgun.  The suspect then robbed the victim of his belongings.  

 

The suspect fled on foot across the Kirkwood Hwy into the Mill Creek Shopping Center.
