DSP News Release: Tuesday, August 04, 2009- Four Masked Men Rob North Wilmington Chinese Restaurant

 

Location: Evergreen Chinese Restaurant, 3608 Miller Road, Wilmington, Delaware

 

Date of Occurrence: Monday, August 3, 2009, at approximately 10:36 p.m.

 

Suspect(s):

  1. Black male, 17-18 years old, 6’ tall, 160 pounds, thin build, medium complexion wearing a hooded sweatshirt and armed with a handgun
  2. Black male, 20-22 years old, 5’11” tall, 180 pounds, average build wearing a hooded sweatshirt and armed with a handgun
  3. Black male armed with a shotgun
  4. Black male who appeared to be unarmed

 

Resume: Detectives from the State Police Robbery Squad are investigating a late evening robbery of a Chinese restaurant which occurred yesterday.

 

At approximately 10:36 p.m., four men, 3 of which were armed, entered the Evergreen Chinese Restaurant on Miller Road via an unlocked door.  The staff was not aware of their presence until all of the men were actually inside. 

 

The suspects had their faces partially covered and were all wearing hooded sweatshirts.  They demanded cash at gun point and the employees complied. 

 

The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
