DSP News Release: Monday, August 03, 2009- Car Flips in Morning Crash
Location: I-95 southbound, north of Route 141
Date of Occurrence: Monday, August 03, 2009, at approximately 8:27 a.m.
Resume: Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the area of I-95 southbound at Route 141 for a single vehicle crash this morning.
A 1991 Dodge Dynasty was traveling I-95 southbound in the left lane. For an unknown reason, the operator of the Dodge, Devlah Ulner, 64, fo Wilmington, drifted off of the left side of the roadway and struck the guardrail. This impact caused the Dodge to overturn.
The operator was transported from the scene to Christiana Hospital where she was admitted with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Ms. Ulner was cited with Careless Driving.
