DSP News Release: Monday, April 13, 2009- Detectives Seek Identity of Burglary Suspect

  • April 1st, 2009, 1:26 a.m.- BP Shore Stop 4001 Lancaster Pike Wilmington, DE                       
  • April 1st, 2009, 2:16 a.m.- Deerhurst Exxon 800 Foulk Road Wilmington, DE

Suspect(s):  Unknown black male wearing a knit hat and a black coat

 

Resume: Detectives from the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Burglary Squad are seeking the identity of a burglary suspect who struck twice on April 1st

 

The first incident occurred at 1:26 a.m. at the BP Shore Stop located at 4001 Lancaster Pike.  The suspect in this case smashed out the front glass door to gain entry.  Once inside, he looked unsuccessfully for cash.  The suspect then fled the scene empty handed. 

 

About an hour later, the same suspect forced his way into the Exxon located at 800 Foulk Road.  The suspect located an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene with same.
