DSP News Release: Thursday, April 30, 2009- Cigarette Burglar’s Identity Sought

 

Location of Incident: Happy Harry’s, 3301 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, Delaware, New Castle County

 

Date and Time of Occurrence: Wednesday, April 27th, 2009, at approximately 5:15 a.m.

 

Suspect(s):  Unknown male suspect, wearing a red knit hat, jeans and brown work boots

 

Resume: Early yesterday morning, Troopers were called to the Happy Harry’s on Lancaster Pike for a burglary alarm.  When officers arrived on the scene, they found a smashed out front door.  When they got inside, they observed a large quantity of cigarettes was stolen. 

 

Surveillance video shows the suspect in this caper used a trash bag to haul the stolen smokes out of the store with him.
