Troopers Seek Assistance in Identifying Dover Area Robbery Suspects

Dover – The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two persons who are responsible for robbing the Valero Gas Station located at 1491 S. Governors Avenue, Dover.
DSP responded to the robbery Tuesday, April 21 at approximately 10:36 pm after 911 was called reporting two black male subjects had just robbed the business. Investigators determined the suspects entered the store armed with handguns, confronted the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied and provided the robbers an undisclosed amount of money. They both then fled the area on foot running westbound from the establishment towards the Rodney Village Development.
The suspects have been describes as black males, between 18 – 20 yrs of age, 5’10 – 6’ tall, 150 -180 lbs. One suspect was wearing a black and gray striped hoodie, a gray scarf and a light colored knit hat. The other was describes as wearing a black hoodie with a white scarf. Both were armed with handguns.
Surveillance photographs of the suspects have been obtained and are attached to this release.
